i.4 is adding new mechanics to villagers, such as liking and disliking you. I really like this and recollect it would be nice to have more things to make them like yous, as well as some rewards for beingness nice to them.
1. Be nice to the children!
If yous throw down a cookie, a villager child nearby volition pick up and consume the cookie. Every eight cookies will earn yous a unmarried popularity signal among the village. However, feeding a child more than 8 cookies in a xx IRL infinitesimal flow will make the kid sick (inflicts a one.5 infinitesimal poisonous substance effect on the said child). Sick children volition cause your reputation points to decrease by 1.
2. Curing dem zombies!
Curing a zombie villager will cause your reputation to increase by 1 point.
3. Bring them protection!
Edifice an iron golem for the village volition increase your popularity by iv points. The points finish being earned in one case at that place are at least 4 golems belonging to that village.
4. Farming
Planting crops in the village will earn you 1 reputation betoken for every forty crops planted. The reputation points earned will be earned up to 3 points until a 5 minute cool-down volition be in consequence. During this cool-down period, no reputation points would earned from planting crops.
Rewards for your kindness:1. Improve deals
Every 15 points, villagers volition offer progressively ameliorate deals, and progressively rarer items
2. Donations

Hmm. I didn't really call up about that. I kind of think that the current punishments are pretty good. For example, the iron golem attacks on sight if the villagers hate you plenty.

In my stance, maybe the villagers could chase yous out of the villages themselves, their hits could practise half a center of impairment, not enough to kill, only enough to go rid of you if they squad upwardly.

I like the concept just there are some balancing issues I'd work out. Some work too ratios rewards just don't quite sit down correct.
My main concern is the frequency of gifts though. I'd say go along it at xv minutes but change it so there is only 1/4 chance they volition come at all. If they do just i-2.
Besides that you seem to be thinking of a new system to the reputation. I was nether the impression each villager had their own opinion of you in the current game.

I exercise like this idea, also. But, like Eraed said, I'd work on the balance a wee bit more. Other than that, it'due south a great thought. =)

I will update with some changes to gifts, to rest. The reputation system currently works by village, not individual villager. For example, ane whole village could hate yous, simply some other can dear you. Individual villagers in these villagers will not have their own opinions, but a sort of commonage opinion among the village.

Agreed, you should only gain rep for replanting. Harvesting shouldn't cost any unless it remains unplanted for like 5 minutes or something.

Maybe not even have a cooldown: make information technology so that when a farmland block is in a village and has a total-grown wheat plant above it set a subconscious value that sets 'reputation' to true, and when that block gets wheat planted on information technology advantage the rep and set 'reputation' of the farmland to false.
And when I said "price points" I meant deduct reputation for leaving farmland united nations-planted for 5 minutes if in that location was a crop already above it before. I didn't even see the organisation was exploitable, my poor caption just led you to realize information technology on accident

I Like The Suggestions.
Hither are another ideas:
1. Building them Houses
- if you build them houses, and then that they tin can brood and expand. your reputation will increase by v.
2. Defending Them
- if the village or a villager is being invaded by zombies and you fight for them. your reputation will increment by 6 and the villagers will give you lot a "Gift" as a form of thanks if y'all succeed in defending them. if in that location are priests the priests will requite you a random positive effect. (Like Regeneration I for like v seconds?)*
*Side Note Defending Them would just count if a zombie attacks a villager or a house with villagers in them. not randomly killing mobs effectually the village

Awesome idea! However, what shows yous if you lot have bad reputation or good? (Maybe add together a meter system when yous enter the hamlet) As well, what happens if you are bad? (Iron golems kick you lot from village/ villagers throw bricks at you)
